W moich działaniach artystycznych ważny jest kontekst miejsca. Zwykle jego pamięć jest powodem do dalszych poszukiwań i działań. Poprzez dobór środków artystycznych buduję organiczny związek pomiędzy pracą artystyczną a wybraną przestrzenią. Powiązanie mediów jest istotnym elementem języka, jakim się posługuję. Użyte materiały i techniki, a przede wszystkim ich szczególne połączenie, uczytelniają przekaz realizacji, a także warunkują jej istnienie. Kolor, światło, detale architektoniczne, zastana materia przestrzeni, użyte materiały, techniki to środki, które wykorzystuję w procesie tworzenia. Zestawione z sobą w odpowiednich proporcjach uzyskują siłę oddziaływania i budują nowe kody znaczeniowe.
My artistic activities focus on the contexts of places. Usually the memory of the context serves as a source inspiration for my further pursuits. I strive to build an organic connection between an artwork and a given space with the use of various means of artistic expression. An important element of my artistic language is the connection between different media. The materials and techniques I use – and more importantly, the way I combine them – are intended to make the message clearer, as well as determining the very existence of the work. Colour, light, architectural details, spatial matter – all these coupled with the materials and techniques I use – are the means of expression in my creative process. Combined in appropriate proportions they create their own force of interaction whilst building new semantic codes.
